A new approach to the sharing and enhancement of data in the smart city environment to improve urban mobility

Data Valley is proud to have taken part in the Smart Communities Tech Conference and, in particular, to have presented, through the conference booklet, its project on the sharing of data in the urban context between individuals and public administration. The conference brought together several speakers and organizations to discuss the changes associated with the ecological transition and to reflect together on solutions to the main global challenges that await us.

In this evolving scenario, what solutions have been developed by the world of research, industry and public administration to exploit new opportunities?

This year's event, entitled 'Future and Sustainable Communities', specifically addressed the changes related to the ecological transition that our communities are facing to reflect on solutions to the great global challenges that await us. Companies, research organizations and public administrations have applied to present innovative solutions, research projects and collaborative innovations on the themes of the three sessions of the Conference: Intelligent and Collaborative Mobility, Government and Data Economy, Physical and Digital Security.

The project presented by Data Valley aims to make urban mobility more efficient by encouraging the adoption of better tools for the Public Administration based on the collection and sharing of “urban data”. In fact, by developing legal and technological solutions that promote the quality and reuse of data, it is possible to promote the growth of the “smart city” in terms of efficient mobility and reduction of intra-urban traffic.
